COVID-19
Coronavirus Disease 2019 ( COVID‑19) is an infectious disease caused by severe acute respiratory syndrome coronavirus 2 (SARS-CoV-2). It has been declared to be a pandemic by the WHO as it has spread rapidly throughout the entire world.

We at Defined Community Care understand and value the importance of the health and safety of your loved ones especially in these trying times. With COVID-19 looming as a dark shadow in our lives, it is better to take a safe and precautionary route to provide you with the best and safest care possible. Keeping your safety in mind, we have made a lot of amendments to our services.
COVID-19 SAFETY MEASURES
Our Staff are well trained and can demonstrate competency in infection prevention and control, particularly in the use of Personal Protective Equipment(PPE)
CHANGES IN DISABILITY SUPPORT SERVICES
Keeping the safety of our participants in mind, we have outlined strict conditions that our Disability Care workers must keep in mind before coming in to work. In case, they show any of the minor or major symptoms of COVID-19, they are discouraged from coming in to work. They will be required to get themselves tested and to quarantine at home.
To help slow the spread of COVID-19, practising good hygiene and physical distancing is the need of the hour. For participants living under restrictions, we have added PPE (Personal Protective Equipment) measures to keep you safe.
We have the option of moving our face-to-face planning to telephonic meetings whenever it is possible. Additionally, NDIS has increased flexibility within your budget to purchase disability support.
Collaborating 4 Inclusion has worked with the Australian Government Department of Health to develop a planning guide which helps people with disability to get the facts about coronavirus (COVID-19) and make a Coronavirus plan that is tailored to their specific needs.
